	Jean Starr earned a BS in Recreation Therapy from San Jose State University and an MS in Special Education from Portland State University. She worked as a Recreation Therapist for many years and taught in elementary schools in Tillamook, Oregon. She enjoys sculpting and restores wooden objects.
	Julie Starr is an artist who graduated from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon with a dual degree in Art and Psychology. One of her passions is expressing whimsy in the painting of wooden objects, including small furniture. Each piece is given careful thought for patterns and color interactions. Julie is also the publisher of the Oregon Coast Business Network, an online directory of businesses on the Oregon Coast.
	The Whimsical Pair Jean and Julie both have relatively quirky natures. Although the process is not always smooth sailing, they usually make a great team! "The Whimsical Pair" reflects the coming together of their personalities and abilities to bring you one-of-a-kind, unique artwork.
